I was considering purchasing a used (3k miles) 2013 2.3l TVS supercharger. The seller seems pretty knowledgeable, and they showed me several pictures. They've also described some light scratching/marring on the rotors of the supercharger. I will post the pictures below. Is this bad news? I'd be saving about 3-400 dollars off buying a new one. According to the seller, the car has been tracked, I'm assuming it's been driven hard, but not used for a substantial amount of miles. Also, they did have some motor trouble with their mods which extended beyond the supercharger. Please give me your input; is it worth the savings or am I asking for trouble? Thanks!

I wouldn't do it & I also wouldn't run the risk of any detrimental damage to my engine if it does break so that I could save 300 or 400 dollars off a new one lol. Just do it right and buy a brand new one that's crazy talk...also that will not fit a '12 gt...hope that helps!

no that is a bad supercharger. treat yourself to a new one.
