Well the injectors are red as an apple so then there's no doubt they're 30's
As for the shifter, I can tell it's not much better than a stock because I didn't even know I had a short-throw shifter on there til I took it apart.
Now, as far as the MAF, can anybody tell me what the stock size is that came with '99's???

Can someone tell me what I need to look for on my buddy's car to tell if it's a real Saleen?
This is the info I have:
2001 - 089
Supercharged
Metallic Red/Maroon
Apparently there's a book...and in this book will be the VIN number assigned to 01-089?

I can look it up for you later tonight. But as far as telling just by looking....there should be the number on the bumper by the driver side headlamp, there should be a Saleen Tag rivotted onto the firewall with the same serial number and the VIN, and there should be a Saleen ID tag on the dash with the same number. Oh yeah, there should be a Saleen Mfr Sticker on the drivers side door jamb along with the Ford Mfr sticker, and there should be a Saleen Owners Manual and other Saleen documents in the glove box.

It has the sticker on the bumper. I think it's missing the tag that is supposed to be in front of the shifter.I have afeeling that it's missing the one on the firewall too...but I haven't really looked yet. I hope it's real...otherwise he got duped by the seller.

If it is missing the dash plaque and the firewall tag, then you can pretty much bet its a fake. If he paid "Saleen" value fora body-kit'd GT then yes he got dupped [:@] I'll check or ya tonight.

Hey Snizz...I don't like telling people what the VIN should be. Please tell us what the last 3 digits of the VIN are on this car and we can confirm if its legit for #89. My guess is we already know the answer [

Ok I know my Saleen is real...But the question I have is.. How many Black Extreme's did they make in 2002? I know they made 54 cars in total..34 hard tops and 20 drop tops... If anyone can help..please do...thanks...oh by the way mines #42

I don't know the total talley off the top of my head....but I think black was the most common color for Extremes in 2002. Would be interesting if someone can confirm.
