Hello, new ,member, new s281 owner. Just got a great deal on a 2001 S281, wanted to verify its an actual Vin# 1FAFP42X31F125764 #149 If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The only '99 S281 that I see listed in the registry with a VIN ending in 724 is... (It was a quick look though.)
99-0296: TwinPod, 3.55:1 Gears, Tire-Upgrade w/10 inch rear rims, Floor Mats, Speedster, Vented Hood, Chrome Wheels, Black Top.
As Mike said posting the Saleen serialization number would be a plus. Contact Team Saleen, with your VIN and serial info, as one of the final checks before purchase.
Also, I can't recommend purchasing a copy of Brad Bowlings "The Saleen Book." Published in 2003 it's a great source of history and info.
A copy of this publication can be purchased via the Saleen Owners and Enthusiasts Club.

Looking for some help to authenticate a Saleen I want to buy
I am new to the site and I am hopeing to get some assistance in finding out if the car I would like to purchase is a Saleen, Thank you in advance for any help!!! The Mustang is a 1990 Hatchback the Vin # is 1FACP41E8LF200142 and the car is stated as #206. Thanks again for any assistance!

Contact Team Saleen before you purchase with the complete Ford VIN (as you have) and Saleen serial number.
