RE: 2008 427R Roush
I should have grabbed my camera on the way out the door. I may be in contact with the guy again. If I ever see him again, I'll be sure to take pics of the car and the plaque.

Then there would be even more of those made, correct? The 68 production number just got me wondering....

That's the trak pak you list. The regular 427R is really a less optioned Stage 3.

Here's more info on it. BTW looks like they'll produce 100 when all is said and done...

2008 Roush 427R
That 427R Trak Pak is a 'limited' run just like the Blackjack(100) and the Roadster(101) and the Drag pak(50).

Like the article said. They are building 100 427R Trak Paks. That has nothing to do with regular production of the 427R. The 2007 427R was very popluar in sales with around 534+- as the preliminary numbers go. They may change abit.

Guess I'm not doing a very good job of communicating my point. Don't mean to belittle ANYONE's choice of car, just thought the 68 production number was a little strange. [&:]

So.... that would be my point, right? The original post said only 68 made. The Trak Pak (a rarer car) production is 100. A "regular old" 427R would have production numbers much higher, just as you stated. Thus my WHAAAA? on the 68 figure.

Yes, your point was correct and very well communicated and posting your article works magic when others start throwing out 'strange' numbers. I was just throwing out abit more info!!! [sm=smiley20.gif]
