Thanks for taking time to tell your story - I'm sorry to hear about your dad passing and I'm sure he'll be keeping an eye on you . . .
Enjoy your car however you want to enjoy it.

Welcome aboard Chris, it's nice to have you here and as as been said above we will do what we can to help you as well.
Nice looking car btw.... Can you fill us in on what it has and how you came about getting it with your dad? Who picked it out? What did he like best about it etc. I think it is really special that he showed an interest in something you liked as well.
Peace.

Thanks everyone for those kind words I really do appreciate it. Well I used to own a 2005 mustang v6 had a couple of bolt ons but was no V8. So I had spoke to my father about purchasing a cobra,gt, or mack 1 never would I have imagined that I would get a SALEEN. well I have a couple of buddies that work at a Ford delership here in Texas mainly because my father used to work there a very long time ago before receiving his degree. So one saturdayI wnt to Ford to check on the status of them finding me a 99-04 v8 stang. well when I got there one of my buddies told me "chris your never gonna guess what I just got in!" I said what?! He told me well come with me to take a look at it. When I got to the back there it was a 2001 s281 SALEEN with 27000 orginal miles for ME! I called my parents ASAP They rushed over! My father said let me see I showed it to him and he said "this is a bit**en car! wow look at that color!" I then asked my parents to help me sign for the car. My mother was like wow it has to be expensive she said "chris can u afford this? lets just wait till we find something else." i looked at my dad he told me "dont worry ill talk to her. we will get you that car!!!!" so time passed the we signed!!!! just like that it was a done deal.
When i got it, it was bone stalk all orginal I called saleen to make sure it was real! SURE ENOUGH IT WAS!

Sounds nice, it doesn't sound supercharged since you bought a new intake etc. I would reccomend you save some coin for a Saleen Blower for it a series4 wouldbe ideal for that plus you wouldnt need to forge the internals, now if you want to go Kennebell or Paxton/Vortech then you might want to look at doing the internals as well. As you know speed is addictive.
Keep us posted.
Peace.
