285/35 PS2's were used on the E cars and they will work on your car too. Just re-program for the new tire size as it affect the speedo. 285's all around looked fine and the PS2 is an excellent tire.

If your car is usedas a weekend car you might consider the new Nitto drag radial available in 275/40.They can be used for normal dry condition driving and will give you more traction at launch as a bonus.
I don't see those tires listed on the Mich website?

It was the upgrade available from Saleen so your guess is as good as mine why its not there. You can get Pirelli's in 285/35 on the tire rack site as well.

I have 295/40/20 on order from Dunlop but they are not in production yet so I might cancel and get 305/35/20. I might recommend those.

What is wrong with the Pirellis? I think they are great. What ever you do, dont buy Toyos.
The Pirelli's are nice but IMO they are over priced, wear quickly, and don't neccessarily handle the best

Okay...a lot of awesome information here guys, thank you. I think what I am doing is making this a lot more difficult than it really has to be. I was looking for an exact match to the Pirreli's I was running. The main thing I was worried about was going with a 35 all around and causing a big wheel well gap. I looked the the Nitto Invo's...and they do offer the same tire size...yet they have some funky *** tread to them...like...really funky and they are just a little less soft than a drag radial. The car is a daily driver so I need something that is going to hold up for a decent amount of time. (and my lead foot ) haha. So I think I am going to go with a smaller side wall and maybe put some sportlines on the car to fill that gap back up. I dunno what do you guys think?

Oh and btw...I will never go back to Pirelli's. 1800 dollars for a new set is definatly not worth it. You are paying for the name, not the performance.

hehe i think the invos tread looks very unique. Everyone woudl look at your tires and be like WTF? . How low of a sidewall do you plan on going? are you sure your gonna enjoy the ride quality? I get mad already with the quality of a 35 sidewall so iono how much you can take with a 30 or 25.

Mick, i think you should cancel on the 295/40/20. I think it will be a problme with your sportlines because mine rubbed on my prokit. I know other people say that they dont rub, but for some reason i rubbed..... 305/35/20 imo would look better. Are you changing all 4 tires or just the rears?

I'd recommend 305/35/20 goodyear eagle f1's for the rear and whatever you want in the front

I would never recommend these tires! UGH!
They are tooooooooooo expensive and wear way tooooooooooo quickly these tires are not meant to handle a beast!

How do I know?
Cause I have them on right now and they are the worst tires I have ever had!
I feel bad for the corvettes cause they come with them

Yes, the eagles f1's are expensive, and they wear quickly because they are a soft compound = better traction. saleen4162 what model f1's do you have?

If you are talkin' F1 GS-D3's, the Michelin PS2's are FAR, FARsuperior forhard corneringand have a better treadwear rating of 220 while the F1's are 280. I have run them both on the VIXN and the PS2's have them hands down.

***REVIEW*** from last year.

I went with the Invo's...I'm pretty happy with the choice I made actually..the tread just takes some getting used to, and apparently these are one of the best tires out there right now. So we'll see. I'll take some pics as soon as they get on the car next week!
