If you are going to do it, go LT's as you said. Everything I have read basically says the stock manifolds are as good as ST's....other than looks of course LT's is where the performance is at.

We've installed both Kooks and ARH on customer and shop cars here. The Kooks are really nice, but we prefer the fit and sound of the ARH. Carlos has Kooks on his car and after driving a car with the ARH he wants to switch. I use the ARH on my car and everyone comments how nice they sound.

I don't know about the kooks but I know the fit on the ARH is abit tougher on initial install, but will allow you to drop the trans without removing the headers. They also seem to sit up abit higher so they arent so low.

I had the kooks setup for a while and they sounded nice. I have heard more people liking the ARH though. They are both going to give you the same gains and have excellent workmanship in them. Just try to find a sound clip of each and pick the one that sounds best to you.

Kooks sound good. ARH sound awesome!

Kooks fit well. ARH have better clearance.

Normally $150-$200 more than the kooks. Best prices I have seen are on ebay.

Default headers in 05-08 saleen

My vote is for the Kooks, I just put them on and have not had the opportunity to record it. Kooks website has an 05 Saleen video with dyno run that is pretty cool.
