Well after owning a bunch of mustangs (two being built n/a coupes with plenty of muscle car shake), i ended up going for the s197 because of its smoothness. While the power gains of cams can't be denied, i do not want to lose the calm idle ( i know a bunch of you are saying " what is wrong with this guy?!?!").

What is the most power any of you guys have seen a N/A s197 put out without cams, or a stroker kit???

And what mods would it take. I really do enjoy N/A.

No offense, but you really want get anything without cams and heads if you are staying n/a

The most I have personally seen is 307rwhp (about 360hp) without head mods or a stroker. These guys got 451hp or about 385 rwhp...

Add a stroker bottom end, the new intake Mickey suggested and you should be way over 400 rwhp.

Big difference.

Not bad for N/A. I would imagine closer to 440RWHP stroked out.
