Roush Stage 3 Questions
A buddy of mine is looking at an 07 stage 3. We drove it today and found that it tramlined quite a bit (followed grooves in road). Is this because of the 10.5 inch front rims and tires? Could you put regular aftermarket wheels on that are a bit narrower to reduce this? Like this. Or is it a suspension thing?

Both the tires and suspension will contribute to the situation you're describing.
Apparently a few first time owners and would be owners have complained about the same thing. Was this evident on a straight, flat and smooth driving surface too?
If not, it's a by product of the tight suspension and large, low profile tire.

Unfortunately, there aren't many flat roads here in MA. But when you hit a small stretch of road that is flat, it tracks straight. What about the longevity of the super charger? This car is an 07 with 38k miles. The car was never tracked and was owned by a 60 yr old male. The car originally sold for 56k and the dealer is asking around 25-27. Is this about right with this high mileage?

The Roush set-up has a bit of negative camber built into the suspension set-up and this really helps it handle as well as it does. The wide front tires also make the car follow the grooves of the road. This was a bit disturbing when I first got my 427R but I am used to it now. You do get a little inside edge tire wear. Roush ships their cars with a suspension set-up sheet so that if you need to get an alignment, you get it set correctly for the Roush suspension. It is not the same settings for a GT. I have read on another forum where some owners were complaining about excessive inside tire wear and when they had their alignment checked, they had to get camber bolts to give enough adjustability for the proper settings.
