2007 S281 S/C or not?
Need some advise.
Last month purchased a 2007 S/C S281 that had never been titled.
Living in Ohio it is now put away for the winter.
My question is what is everyone's thoughts on supercharge versus stock?
i am having second thoughts on spending the money i did and am considering trading mine in for a 2006 non-supercharged. I could go from a car payment to free and clear based on cost differences.
i will never race it and will just use it to enjoy in the summer.
Does the stock S281 sound as good as the supercharged?
I know it is over 100 less hp, just weighing in free and clear versus monthly payment for 6 years!
thanks!!

If you really need the money, get rid of it. Thats different. But don't get rid of it for an N/A. You won't be happy for long and you'll start modding it eventually. The S/C is perfect, even if you keep it stock.

Use this time (as I did last year) to put some upgrades into the car (ie the full JDM stage II kit). Drive it for a week after you get it tuned (preferably by JDM) and then come back and tell us if you want to get rid of it..

It really comes down to your financial situation and what lets you sleep at night. Trading it, you will probably take a hit, but who knows. I can tell you this.... I have a 2005 n/a S281 convertible and I have Whipple HO SC on order and on it's way to me right now!! Winter time project. The 281 is quick, but it's not fast... Saleen's are "expected" to be fast, and the n/a versions are just looks and handling.

That was my thought that since i have already driven (and been spoiled by) the s/c that there would be some let-down!
just didn't know if n/a was still somewhat quick, bit better than stock GT and if that center exhaust still had same growl?
thanks for the input from all!
