Default 2011 Shelby or Roush stage 3

I test drove a 2011 Shelby last week and have been going nuts ever since. 5 straight days on the internet searching the country for the perfect color and options. Then, I find an awesome 2010 Roush stage 3.
Question of the day, Shelby or Roush and why?

Thanks in advance for any and all input.

2011 shelby. Carrol Shelby won't live forever and it will be worth more in the future and it is a great car, 4V, more displacement.

(assuming you are talking about a 2011 gt500 and not a 2011 gt350)

Jack Roush isn't either, he almost died this year in a plane crash. I don't think the death of either of the two will cause the cars worth to drastically go up. The new shelbys to me aren't the same was the original ones as they're built by ford, not shelby or his own employees. Same as roush, roush racing will continue producing cars long after he's gone. The 2011 shelby cobras to me are just the same as any other mustang cobra, they just have the shelby name on them instead of SVT. I don't think either will be worth much more than the other one(keep in mind it's only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it). With that said, a 2010 roush will be used, but I like the styling better than the 2011 shelby gt500. If you get the 2011 gt500, it'll be new and you won't have to worry about the previous history (1 year) of the car. With the gt500 you'll get the bigger and lighter aluminum engine. If it was my money, I'd buy the new car, and take good care of it.

I'm leaning towards the "new" Shelby. I still can't quit thinking about it and I test drove it 4 days ago. I'm going to pull the plug any day now and buy one of these bad boys. Fortunately, I ran into a little windfall and I guess I'll need every penny as these toys ain't cheap. That Roush is BAD A$$ looking but, 59 LARGE? although it only has 1500 miles on it, I wonder what the story is...

Thanks for the opinions.

Have you driven the Roush? If not you should before you buy either.

LoveinLife,
Trust me. If I could test drive a Roush 3 I would. The one I was looking at is 1200 milees from my house. Do you know where I can find one in South Georgia in the next day or two?
So far, in my two little polls about Shelby versus Roush, I think the vote is 16-2 for Shelby. Nuff said in my book...

I don't understand why you would let others determine what you should buy to drive every day. That's just me.

Try calling Roush-maybe they can run a dealer inventory for cars that may be left over on dealer lots in your area. Not saying the GT500 isn't a great car, just different. The Roush car will make more power and is slightly lighter up front-it will surprise many people. Personally I'd go for the 540RH as I don't care for all the bling stuff-I like the sleeper look.

Try Jackie Jones Ford to see what he has.

ROUSH 3 BABY.... thats pure sex. Lower production number plus they look like what a muscle car should look like. Plus there's more flex in color choices.
