Hey guys I was wondering if anyone can find production numbers on saleens. I am looking at an 07' vista blue automatic which I think has to be fairly rare. Also, I am trying to find out if the blue 07' saleen has the same paint as an 07' 427 which is blue. It looks the same so I imagine it's the same paint with different decals.

 

Some of the guys with blue cars could probably chime in and give you an idea as to how many blues were built in their particular model, and of those that were automatics it would indeed be pretty rare among Saleens of any color.

Rare meaning not necessarily more valuable, but perhaps more valuable to the right buyer.

There were supposedly 37 Vista Blue Saleens built in 2007, and I'd be willing to bet not too many were autos.

The blue would be the Ford Vista Blue -- both Saleen and Roush only painted their custom body kits to match the Ford paints, unless you got a custom color, and there wasn't a custom blue offered at Saleen and I don't think Roush either.

You see a lot of blue cars overseas for some reason.

 

Oh, and you may be able to get some production information when you verify authenticity of the Saleen by calling 800-888-8945, but usually specific production information is generated when an owner orders an optional Letter of Authenticity, and that costs about $100.
