2011 Roush stg2 Upgrades?
Hey guys, just to get this out there- I know almost nothing past the basics of car stuff. ("Hey does that thing have the 373 on it?" "Ummmm.....sure?") Please speak slow and stupid to me and this will go a lot smoother...
I picked up my '11 Stage 2 and am looking to upgrade performance- so what are the best options for me? The only caviat is that I want to keep my ride as Roush-centric as possible. E.g. Roush parts trump all others when possible.
As a side question- If I got a new cold air intake, would the Roushcharger I plan on getting make that kindof useless or do they go well together?

Welcome to the party.
Right out of the box you probably have the upgraded suspenion and brake package.
Knowing what other Roush options you have will help guide the next steps. Some of the S2 cars have the cold air intake option already on them.
A VERY popular step is going with the ROUSH supercharger set up. It uses it's own air intake, and I'd skip the intake and go straight to the blower.

Thanks guys. I do have the upgraded package for suspension, brakes, etc.- just looking for what I can do to stuff a few more ponies under the hood. I'll be getting the roushcharger in a few months (when the lady lets me... I know, I know), but until then is there anything else I can do? The only thing I can think of right now is maybe a tuning package?

Tuning pkg? - Yes, the new 5.0L has demonstrated serious potential with the 'right' tune. There are a few good (READ -reuptable) mail order tuners for the 5.0L.
I'd recommend contacting each and letting them know your plans for the car.
Each will also offer ROUSH related packages.
This isn't exclusive just the best of all that I've heard about thus far.
VMP - VMP is your source for custom SCT Tuning of X2, X3, Livewire & TSX tuners.
JDM - JDM Roush 2011 5.0 Power Pack
