Dumping clutch on 2nd gear for faster take off?
I have a 2016 Roush supercharged (Stage 1 @ ~640hp to the rear wheels) GT tuned by a well known local tuner. Taking off from a stand still on 1st gear turns into spin central. I did get rid of the factory PZeros (felt like butter) and got a set (rear) of the BF Goodrich sport comp-2. They have much more grip but apparently not enough. The other day I tried dumping the clutch on 2nd gear and it went much better, but I am afraid I am going to break something in the car. It seemed to handle it pretty well, but I don't want an unexpected repair bill.
So how do you think I can alleviate this issue? Get a better clutch so I can dump it on 2nd with more confidence? Is there a take off technique I need to learn? A combination of both? Please advise.

Second gear will blow your trans eventually. Learn to modulate the throttle easier, softer, less intensity or just use traction control, that is what it is there for. Watch videos of idiots wrecking their cars showing off. They don't know when to lift.
