Nope, very cool but nope. these were hot when the S197 first came out. those are of course painted, IIRC the kit came in black only and the lights are LED, so if something burns out your left going back to your stockers.

 

I have had the pleasure of cutting tail housings in half to replace LED boards, or
to add LED Parameter lighting in incandescent housings. We have a glue that
has two tubes, in a gun, that goes through a tip that mixes them together.
It comes out white, HOT, and sets in one minute! So, I have one minute to line
and set the halves together.


We put LED Strips inside the housings, front, rear, and rear tails. Yep, CUT them in half, set the strip in, let set,
then put them back together with the glue... So, I could fix those tails when the LEDs go out...
