Transmission dropped?

I have a 2001 mustang GT. I replaced the clutch a little less than a month ago and have put just around 300 miles on it since then. It seemed to be driving just fine until today when I shifted from 3 to 4 I felt the transmission drop as in physically drop toward the ground. I tried a quick google search but I couldn’t find any thing. I thought have been imagining it but after getting home I can see the shifter is definitely sitting lower than it was before. Do any you guys have any possible idea of what could have caused this.
