Default Engine wont crank - found bearings under car

Last week, we turned the car on. All of the sudden the belts quit turning so we quickly turned the car off. We did find some roller bearing on the ground after with what looked like part of a retainer. The bearing did not have any fluid on them nor were they hot. Since then, we cannot get the engine to crank. We replaced the starter and altnerator with no luck. Tonight we pulled off the crank pulley. We can move the crank shaft so I dont think the engine is seized? However, no idea where to go from here. Please help!

What year Mustang have you got? Can you include a few pictures of the engine, whole thing and close-up of the fan belt areas. It would be better to understand if it is an original engine or a newer transplant.

If those are internal parts, where would they have escaped from?
