They told you 500 miles to break it in? They didn't warn me at all. I got on it first minute.
Do you not feel any difference in acceleration?
I can feel a huge difference in acceleration but I am waiting before I get into it. I am probably babying it more than I need to, but better safe than sorry.

Remember when you get your CAI + tuner that you'll need to change the gear ratio with the tuner before loading the tune. Unless you told B@m@ that you had 3.73s, then the parameters might be preloaded.

Otherwise your speedo will be WAY off. Also, you can correct your speedo because of your new tires, too. You just need to get the revs per mile from Nitto's website and you can put that in with the tuner as well. It's probably off by a hair right now.

Actually my speedo is off right now, strictly didn't adjust it for my gears, but I did order my tune for 3.73's so I should be good to go.

and wth are we doing up so early?

in an auto that can be very bad

I've heard that the trany uses the speed to figure when to shift and if the speedo is off then it won't shift right

It's only off by 7 mph, and the car is shifting different, but just shifting a little early. Nothing bad, and I get my CAI/tune next week.

Why didn't they adjust for the gears? They didn't do mine because I had a tuner already, but they should have done it for you.

Don't know. The work may have been done well, and the price was good, but the communication/customer service wasn't there. It willbe a non-issue if I ever get my CAI/Tune... I was reluctant about ordering from bamachips because of the amount of time he takes, but everyone said it was worth it for an auto.

I have to agree. There really wasn't any CS with Strictly. They do good work, so I guess it's a trade-off. I would have liked better CS though.

I kinda was made to feel stupid when I called them before I ever did my gears. But I used them on Eric's recommendation.
Not sure I'll use them for the nitrous if/when I have it installed.

Oh, and I am always up at 4:30 am every day. I have to be at work by 7, and I like to take my time getting ready.

I get up at 5:30, and get to work by 6:30-7:00 :P

It is beautiful outside, I need to wash my car. See if you can help me find some information out. I am considering getting the FRPP spings, and swaybars, however.... They have specific sway bars & springs for the GT and V6. Think I should just get the V6? The K springs are for GT and N springs are for V6... I dont know if there is a difference.
