I had so much fun I think I'm going to Georgia next month for the races.

Learned a lot also! You can't imagine what goes into making a car like that go down the track at that speed consistently!

I doubt you would! That car has three different data acquisition systems on it!! They have one guy doing nothing but reading data and making adjustments on the computer in between runs! That sounds like a good job for you Oddy!

Thats chalk. You spray it on the wheels before you run. It allows you to read how the car is launching. Whether one side is touching down first, shifting, etc.

I was so close for each launch it wasn't even funny!I got as close as the track officials would allow. We were watching the rear end of the car after each pass and making spring adjustments as needed. Thats why most of the shots are from that angle or very close to it.

Let me tell you the sound from that spot..........soundslike a rocket launching!!!

come on 7 more

they could make this section like OT and have posts not count hehehe.[8D]
Bite me.
This is the most active I've ever been in any forum. I'm happy that I have a decent post count. Even if most of them have been banter in regional!
I forgot the "[8D]" to indicate I'm kidding

since the the golden era of the HRP forum I haven't been as active on forums 4000+ posts over there\

plus the whole non-counting thing in OT causes some to get a -# if they have OT posts deleted

Better yet Oddy, Richard offered to let me test drive his car. Of course I think we were a case into the night......I'm not going to hold my breath![8D]
