dunno if you guys care about the "other side" but I arrived in NC about 3 weeks ago after being forced from my home in Louisiana bcause of the hurricane. I'm in Statesville ( just north of charlotte and mooresville). I actualy lived here a few years back and have some family here. Just thought that I would say hi to the locals. I'm headed to mooresville dragway this thursday (oct 13), so anyoe around feel free to stop in and say hello. Also wanted to throw out there for the locals that I am an auto tech in search of a job. So if anyone knows of any positions or even needs some work done cheep feel free to let me know

My GF almost got a job up in burlingtion. She acualy still mght get it but I doubt it. We are both looking for jobs still so depending on where we get them we might be living anywhere from Kanapolis (sp) to greensboro.

Welcome to 96SilverLT1 and dlazrael! Sorry about the displacement 96, glad you did have somewhere to go, although that is not much help. If your really interested in finding jobs, you need to look in the Raleigh area. This is the hot place to be for work in NC, not to mention the wages are the best around.
