Racing Rules for Blue Oval Bash
Super Pro: (Sat & Sun)
• Electronics Class
• 1/8 mile
Pro: (Sat & Sun)
• Non-Electronics Class
• 1/8 Mile
Sportsman: (Sat & Sun)
• Non-Electronics Class
• 1/4 Mile
Truck Class: (Sun)
• Non-Electronics Class
• 1/4 Mile
• Bracket Format
Ford vs. The World: (Fri)
• This is an all run race. Electronics will race against other electronic cars and non-electronics will run against other non-electronics until we get to the final four in each class then the classes will be combined to determine one winner.
Fast Ford 8.50 Index Class: (Sat) • Tire Size – 325.50 Radial or 28x10.5W Slick 10 to 15 or Smaller
• Any Power Adder combination Allowed
• Trans-brake Allowed
• Progressive Controllers Allowed
• Deep Staging Allowed (Courtesy Staging Preferred)
• Throttle Stops are NOT Allowed
• Bracket racing aids are NOT allowed ( ie delay box, etc )
Ford Modular Class: (Sun)• Any Ford Street Legal Car, Truck or SUV that is Ford Modular powered
• Any approved DOT tire (No Slicks)
• Open Comp. format 1/10 second breakout
• Class open for any ET from 9sec to 15 sec
• Any 2, 3, or 4, Valve modular Combination Allowed
• No Throttle Stops
• No bracket racing aids allowed ( ie delay box etc )
• Trans-brake Allowed
• Deep Staging Allowed (Courtesy Staging Preferred)
True Street Class: (Sat)• Any ford Street Legal Car, Truck or SUV
• Any approved DOT tire (No Slicks)
• No bracket racing aids Allowed
• Stock Appearing Interior w passenger seat.
• Suspension must be located in stock position
• All cars must meet NHRA requirements for ET ( ie. Cage certification , parachute if required, etc )
• Any Power Adder combination Allowed
• Progressive controllers allowed
• Over winner ( quickest average ), runner up and 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 sec index classes
• Racing – Each car will get three passes down the strip and the E.T. (elapsed time) will be averaged by the number of runs to determine a winner in each class. All runs will be hot laps so you will immediate return to appropriate staging lanes.
• For 9 to 15 sec index classes the Quickest average in each class will determine the winner. (Closest average to index without going under index)
• After cruise cars will be impounded. At this point you can NOT open your hood. You CAN take air out of your tires but can NOT put air in your tires. You CAN open your trunk ONLY to turn on your nitrous bottle or fill Ice.
• No refueling after the cruise.
• Please no air conditioning once cars are impounded.
