I have an 86 notch and since ive gotten the car ive had problems with the idle. It surges from 1500 to about 600 rpms while cold but once its wrmed up its only a very slight but noticeable surge, about 1200 to 1000 rpms. It has canfield aluminum heads with 61 cc combustion chambers , 2.02 intake/1.60 exhaust valves. The smog pump is disconnected but still in the car beacuse i havnt gotten the pulley system yet and the egr valve is still on the throttle body. I believe it has an aftermarketcam in it but im not sure what size. The car was also a 4 cyl to 5.0 conversion. i was also having electrical problems that seemed to be caused by the wrong harness being used in the swap but i seemed to have fixed the majority of the problems (besides the guage cluster shutting down when u turn the lights on) but i now have all my own guages that work perfectly. if anyone could help out it would be greatly appreciated
