Default Carb Distributor ??

I got a 67 Mustang with a new Roller Block installed, I need to know what distributor is needed. I hear that 85 distributors work, if i can't find that specific distributor what else can i use, i dont want to buy a new one.

You really just need to change to a steel gear.

you can use the old dizzy from the 67 289. all you need to do is get the hardened steel gear for the roller cam.

You can use just about any 302 disty that has the duraspark type ignition. Any '79/'82-'85 dist will work (there was no 302 in '80 or '81).
So heres all the ones thatll work, Ford Fairmont/mercury zephyr, Thunderbird, Crown vic/grand marquis/LTD, F/E150, hell any ford vehicle made between '79-'85 that had the duraspark with a 302.

Or you could spend the money on a more modern distributor that doesn't have nearly as many moving parts.
