I have a 1986 mustang lx/gt with a 5.0 carburated engine. The carburator is a 600 edelbrock 4 barrell. The throttle cable on it wont open the fourbarrel all the way up its too long, i tried to put a 1985 throttle cable on it, and it didnt work. Anyone know which i should use? (the 1986 also wont work)

 

Get a CSR throttle bracket and you can adjust the length of the cable and make it work.
