carb to fuel injection

carb to fuel injection
I have a 1985 gt setup for carb. I want to put in a 5.0 fi w/maf. I have a complete 91 harness. But how do i tie that into the 1985 dash harness. I dont want to to use the 91 dash. I want to stay with 85 dash. My only thought was to find a 86 efi dash harness and adapt from their. Any thoughts anyone.
