Default carbureted supercharger?

i just traded for my car a couple days ago. its an '82 GT fully built all motor with a new t5 and a 3.73 rear end. i cant seem to find a supercharger kit for it anywhere. any ideas? also, due to the 3.73's my speedo is all out of whack. this is my first non-ecu vehicle. so does anyone know where to find speedo gears for a 3.73 recallibration?

Speedo gears you can get from most shops, I think places like Summit have them as well.

And both Procharger and Vortech make carb'd blower kits, but you'll need a good blow through carb, plus a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator, plumbing, and a bigger fuel pump.

got some literature from procharger today. it has carbureted setups for '85-'93. any idea if these setups will work? i would have asked them but their customer service is closed right now and they dont have an email address listed.

You could bolt an 85-93 kit on if you used an 85-93 timing cover and accessory setup. Call them when someone is there, they'll have the answers. They probably have a universal bracket and spacer kit that can be used for your setup as well.

In reference to the questions about Speedometer issues,

I drive an '83 mustang and I order a lot of my parts from http://www.50resto.com
they have several speedometers, parts, cables, gears, and gauge dress up stuff.

Here is a link to the speedo gears http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...eed-Correction

Hope this helps, I ordered a 145mph speedo from this site for my '83 and its worked out great.
