Default 1981 Trans help

I recnetly bought a 1981 mustang, it has a 302 in it but with no transmission, i want to know if it would be cheaper to buy a bellhousing, torque convert, flexplate, and starter or try to find a transmission with all that for the 302, i have a C4 cureently

I would just look for the stuff to install your C-4.
Look at Criagslist, pick-a-part for a start.
IMO, you should be able to find that stuff for very little.
I'd get a new starter BTW.......
