Going Carbureted

Going Carbureted
I'm going carbureted soon and I'm just wondering will I need a different hood or a modification to my hood to fit it with the air filter and carb adding a little height to the motor

Alright thanks for the info there's nowhere near me that can get a low profile air cleaner or they never have them in stock for some reason
my uncle and I might have an idea to make it look like a cobra r hood while keeping the two little scoops on the hood but that's currently a top secret design

I don't know how to work on efi unless it's basic maintenance because it's just not what I know and even worse is I don't have the type of budget to make the power I'm looking for with efi

The cost is really irrelevant. Youre going to have to spend more money than you think, converting over to a carb system thats going to make any real power.

There is alot of info out there on EFI systems. Thought about modding from carb to EFI with because all i knew was EFI. But ended up doing my research and sticking with the carb. Glad i did because i picked up alot of knowledge i wouldn't have had if i went to EFI.

I'm just not good with tuning nor do I want to have to go to someone to have it tuned ,I'm either building it myself or paying out of pocket on a high school budget too have it bored and what not I'm also going to be building a roll cage to fit with the top up, so I think the carb is just better for me
