Default true or false

i have a 2001 gt convertible and i was told that i cant put the new 20in bullet rims with the 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear because the suspension sat to low and i would have to cut inside the fender. Is this true or false and if so what do i have to alternate to fit the 20s and would it be reliable. thanks

if your stang isnt lowered you can handle it, but 20's will decrease performance due to more rotating mass, i wouldn't go more than 18x10 in rear and 18x9 in front IMO.

you would definitely need to wrap those 20's tightly, to not rub.

Man, 20's on the 99-04 are ugly as all hell. R you really sure you want to do that? 18's are perfact. They look great on 05+ but not the SN95
