Hi

I was wondering what is the biggest size rim I could put on a 2001 Mustang st without having to mess wit the suspension too much?

Im wanting to put 22" rims on my mustang with some rubber band tires. Could someone let me know if it would be able to work? What rim/tire combo should I go with?

probably not, and plz dont try. but seriously i've seen 20's on a mustang before, looked straigh hood. a.k.a Ghetto. Its a muscle car not a big body caddy.

There are a pair of 99-04 mustangs around town here locally (albany, GA...) that ride on 22x9" wheels with 255/35/22s (I THINK...)

I have 20s on mine, and I will be going down to a staggered setup of 19s in the next few weeks.

I dont think 20's look hood, i've got 20's and they look pretty mean. I dont think you can get 22's and have turning clearance in the wheel well without some modification. I've got 245/35/20 tires and there's not much meat to them at all.. i'd be scared to go less than a 35, and you'd have to with 22's. You would probably bend a rim pretty easilly.

I 20" is over doing it...should stick to at most 19"
but it's your car so you can do what you want to it.

i think it looks stupid. i know a kid that has 22' and its gay. dont try it
