Default mm panhard bar

Im considering the mm panhard bar to tighten up the rear end but I have a bunch of questions. Does anyone have any actual experince with it (like/dislike, exhaust clearance etc.)? I was originally considering the steeda shock tower brace for the rear, but from what i've read the panhard bar is better. is this true? If I used both would this be overkill? Also I want to lower the car, would the panhard bar present any issues with a 2" drop? thanks

Default RE: mm panhard bar

Panhard bars are one of the best ways to "fix" some problems in the Mustang rear suspension in which control arms alone will not fix. Ford infact saw a panhard bar as such an important device that they put it in all 05-06 Mustangs.

The Steeda rear shock tower brace is a chassis stiffening device, totally unrelated to the function of a panhard bar. Both work on different areas of the suspension.

The Panhard bar will not have any issues with the drop, and will not have any issues with most aftermarket exhaust. Occasionally an exhaust hanger or exhaust will have to be bent a bit, but thats maybe only 10-20% of the time... Not a big deal for an installer who is already welding in a panhard bar.

Hope this helped, you can always e-mail us at sales@stangsuspension.com or call us toll free 877-272-5670
