Torn on springs
I have a 98 cobra and the wheel gap is rediculous. I already bought Maximum Motorsports CC plates and a bump steer kit. I want the best handling I can get out of doing springs/shock and struts. I also want atleast a 1.5" drop. I was looking at the Eibach Sportline kit but the spring rates seem to light and soft, like it would have a lot of body roll and I would end up rubbing on dips and such, no? I was also looking into the H&R kits, but am not sure what kit would be optimum. I would prob go with koni red's or yellows... whats the difference? Dont really mind on the struts/shocks as long as they go well with the springs and arent going to bottom out, is it also better to order the 87-93 stuts, I hear they have an extra 1" of travel for lowered cars? This is also my daily driver but I want to get into track days etc.
Thanks for the help, Carl

I have somewhat of the same question. Josh said the 87-93 front struts will fit into my 00 with sportline. The tokico HP 87-93 struts has more room to travel, but not sure by how much. I've also called about 5 other shops and they all told me the same story with the tokicos.
Hope that helps a bit.

I decided to go with the sportlines, now I need to clarify struts and springs... when I order them, should I just order them as if I had an 87-93? will the fronts and backs all bolt on properly? Does this apply for all companies (as far as the extra 1" of travel)? Anyone know anything about the KYB AGX externally adjustable struts and shocks?
