Where does the bumpstop go that comes in Eibach sportline spring packages? Ive got a 96 V6.

It goes above the differential, on the frame of your Mustang. It replaces the larger rubber bumpstop currently found on your car.

Carefully go underneath the car (with proper supports). You will then see the rubber bumpstop above the differential in the rear...

Sincerely,

Wow, that sounds so easy after Ive already put the springs and shocks in the rear end. Will it be ok to drive short distances without the bumpstop there for about a week when I can install the front? or could it damage components?

You only need the bumpstop if the rear end is bottoming out.

Alot of times, if your shocks are not worn, or you get new shocks... your car may never bottom out.

I would wait, see if the stock bumpstop is causing any issues... if so... then change it...
