Can you use the MM SFC's to jack the car?
I gotta put my suspension kit on my car and I'm not happy with the current locations from the factory manual. Changing a spare tire is one thing but I have to put the car on jack stands to change the springs and shocks. I've already bent the the sheet metal where it meets the side-skirt - not really happy about that! I couldn't even open the doors so I quickly removed the jack stands and scratched my head all day looking for a better location and found nothing suitable or that I would trust to place jack stands. The frame on the Mustang looks really flimsy IMO.
I'm sure the MM SFC's would add rigidity to the overall handling and I will buy them if they are capable jacking points and can withstand jack stands.
Makes me wonder how the car twists during heavy driving and cornering...

Ok great! Ordered them along with the Prothane motor mounts.
I'm still researching the best size and performance tire for the 18x9 FR500 rims. I'm finding that almost none of my gear-head buddies know how recommended sizes differ in appearance or performance. I'm still considering your recommended size of 275/35 but I am waiting on tirerack.com to respond to my emails for their recommended size of 245/40. I've read a wealth of tire sizes for this particular rim with all different kinds of sizes on different forums. This is a daily driver on PA roads which take a punishment from poorly maintained roadways.
You've been helpful with suspension options. Any thoughts of why my car is leaning on the driver side just a tad. I thought it was just me but my wife actually noticed it - which adds validity b/c she hardly notices any problems or upgrade performance with cars. I've yet to install the Bullit supsension kit - think that will solve the issue?
Thanks

275/35-18 is the way to go...
245 is too skinny for a 9 inch rim... period... you're going to experience curb rash because you dont have a good lip on the tire, and your performance will be degraded due to an undersized tire.
275/35-18 is the closest match to a 245-45-17 stock tire, and will not throw off your speedometer.
As far as the car sagging or being uneven. It can be two things. One, the stock springs may be sagging. Two, Forrd tolerances can be quite terrible on Mustangs, sometimes they just sag from the factory due to misaligned components from one side of the vehicle to the other.
It may look better or be fixed completely with the Bullit springs, you will have to see when you install the kit...
Sincerely,
