All of the Shocks/Struts for the new 05-07 Mustangs will fit your V6 as well as the GT.

They roughly have the same suspension design, with the exception of a rear swaybar.

Here are some links to popular shock/strut combos...

Tokico D-SPEC Kit - http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...?idproduct=794
Ford Racing Dynamic Dampers - http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...?idproduct=981

The D-Specs offer adjustability, while the Ford Racing Dampers offer some affordability. Both are great shocks.

Sincerely,

but are the gt strut/shocks valved differently than my v6 strut/shocks? I have the opportunity to buy takoff gt strut and shock for $100. i know they alway say to upgrade your shocks when lowering...just wondering if the gt shocks would dampen the lowerd springs. Im looking at the pro-kit springs

The spring rates are different, I dont believe the shocks are valved differently. There would be no performance gain by using GT shocks/struts on a V6
