catted H pipe
i own a 2004 v6 mustang and i was planning on purchasing the catted H pipe in a couple weeks. and i was just wondering if it is carb approved cuz i live in Cali and we have strict emmissions tests. i was also wondering if u guys offered any special discounts us mf,ers. o and one more question i didnt see any mac shorties for my 6er on your site and i am wondering if you guys carry them cuz i would like to purchase both from you guys if possible. thanks in advance!
Modifying or removing OEM/Working catalytic converters is against CARB regulations.... and will not be CARB legal. It is always considered "offroad" even with Cats.. While you may pass the "sniff" test, it may not pass a visual test. It is really at the owners discretion... whether they want to purchase for offroad use only. Even all the GT dual exhausts, which can bolt onto a modified H-pipe for a V6 technically are NOT CARB LEGAL on a V6 (while that same exhaust may be CARB legal on a GT).
Again its at your discretion, and you will run the risk of not passing a visual test.
