OK, Coming home from Maine today to Mass. I was going with the flow of traffic, not speeding to much, then a 2006 Maxima blows by, weaving traffic, passing everyon,,,, at first, no big deal, but then I ended up behind him a few miles down after a toll, he starts doing the same, so I said F' it, start following him, move for move, lol I laughed at the body roll that thing had compared to the stang, anyway, I got my chance to "safely" pass him, so I am leading for a while, then we get to the head of the traffic, 3 wide open lanes, we were doing about 75 or so, he comes up next to me and guns it, so I do the same, took a second, but I blew right by him and just kept gaining, then we hit more traffic, he caught up, after I am slowing from 120 or so, we give each other the thumbs up and roll on, anyway, I felt good,,,,,,,and from what I know, those new maxima's are supposed to be pretty quick

 

lol nice dude, ya i heard the maxima's were pretty quick, hey i see ur sig says u removed the silencer, did that help u at all in anyways and make any kind of difference?

 

This is the way every race should end, win or lose. Sounds cool though - I'm sure it was much more exciting in person.

 

Only a very slight increase in throttle response, no real power increase, but I have heard that doing that and a K&N at the same time does yield a couple horsepower, tommorow I install the K&N and will know for sure then
