Alright I've got a 2001 gt with mac long tube headers, mac pro chamber, mac catback, bbk cold air intake, accufab 75 mm throttle body and c&l plenum. Do you guys think I could beat an 05 or 06 gt? My car is a 5 speed. Also, what should be the next thing to do to my car besides lowering it?

 

hrmmm.. if the other guy can't launch worth a damn. i think it'd be a close race. full exhaust gets you a decent ammount of power. get some gears and i'd tip the odds in your favor.

 

should i go with 3.73's or 4.10's? this is my everyday car for now.

meh.. he's puttin down about 260RWHP with those mods. 05s dyno a little higher than that from what i've actually seen in person. the 05 is a little heavier. with gears i'd say it'd be him. if the 05 is an auto, then he probably has about the same power to the wheels. from a dig, i'd say it was a driver's race.

 

that really depends, if it is a stock 05 then it will be close, but not a modded 05

 

No offence dude but you really think your few mods added a ton HP don't you? You might want to run that car at a track or go to a differant dyno to get a comparison run. It's not uncommon for a shop to inflate dyno numbers to make themselves look better. I am just trying to help you man.

 

dude, please stop. i never said anything about my car, and please leave it out. do you really think i would say i have over 3 hun to the ground and not have. and yes i no about shops, and different dynos, and the difference between, standard and mustang dynos. please stop. please, im not talking about my car, but i have ran plety 99 to 04 mustangs and won everytime, execpt for once when dude was spraying. he took me after 4 gear. come on. what are you trying to prove

 

and i have gone to 2 different shops and pulled 303 at one, then i put on the pullies the next day and pulled 312. why are you so worried about my car anyway.
