Ive just got my car running and it still needs tuning but it runs great. this race happened when i just left from the gas station. took a right and headed down main i see a wrx pass going the other way ive seen i before but in the rear view i see him turn around and come up strong. well it so happens the light turns red and were heads up but i know im not going to get any traction so i tell him to go from the roll. the light turns green and we roll to about 35 and he honks three times and leaves me for about 1 and a half cars then i feather second and hit third hard putting me sideways passing him smoking tires and all. well needless to say he pulls me over and with his jaw dropped says what the hell do have in there. well i showed him and he still did not belive i could beat his beloved wrx. what a ricer no conception of what real power is..... a five liter mustang. just kidding but it was fun.[8D]

forged 306 w/main girdle, holley systemax kit ported, custom cam, ford racing 1.6 rrs,powerdyne 9psi w/power pipe,bbk lt with h pipe and flowmaster,3.73 auburn pro, tremec t-5, stage two spec clutch kit,pro 5.0 shifter,70mm throttle body bbk,c&l 76mm mass air and im sure some other things. but it hasent been tuned yet still have the metenal to put on and bigger injectors and msd btm. sooooo i have a little more to play with.

 

ummm and he was surprised you beat him, what was he on crack. you could probably beat me and i'v raced two different wrx's, one was a turbo. beat em both.

i think that i am going to turbo charge it. see i have a 66mm turbonetics from my blown up rx7 but i think it will be to big......hmmmm...... who knows maybe i will.

All wrxs are turbo'd.. unless they take it off for some reason. And hey transformed, isnt the STi still a wrx? I thought they had the WRX badge in the lower left and STi in the lower right of the trunk.
