the sti is a version of the the wrx, a performance option. a good one as well.
and yeah the roll was because my car is stupid on street tires and it would have been hard on my new clutch sliping it for somthing dumb as a street race.

ummm and he was surprised you beat him, what was he on crack. you could probably beat me and i'v raced two different wrx's, one was a turbo. beat em both.
All wrxs are turbo'd.. unless they take it off for some reason. And hey transformed, isnt the STi still a wrx? I thought they had the WRX badge in the lower left and STi in the lower right of the trunk.
Yeah, Kracee1 is right. The STi is technically a "WRX," but the two are extremely different cars. Here are some of the differences (from the factory):
STi has -
$1800 HID lights, a far superior suspension setup, forged BBS rims and sticky summer tires, a ridiculously expensive Brembo brake system, a bigger intercooler, turbo, injectors, engine, a different intake manifold and heads, different exhaust, sportier seats, a much tighter steering rack, a STRONG 6 speed transmission (still good at over 700AWHP) with manual differential control (you can change the power distribution to the front and rear wheels or even lock the diff like in an offroad Jeep), and an intercooler water sprayer among other things =D
