So my sister will probably get getting an Evo by the end of summer, about the same time I will be getting my LS1. Any predictions for the race? I want to assume that she will learn how to drive (she really knows nothing about cars and only wants the Evo because it's "pretty"). So what would win if it was an equal 1/4 race? What would win from a roll?

 

I would say that they are pretty even. But if I had to guess I would say if she can drive then she will edge you out. But if she is a bad driver and you arent half bad I would say you will win.

 

Driver's race, too close to call without actually doing it.
I raced a stock one, he ran 13.44 @ 102 to my 13.34 @ 106. I have a coupla minor mods, if I was all stock me might've gotten me (not taking reaction time into account).

 

ls1 should rape the evo.

 

From a dig it might be close. Might be. If she can drive. Launching an AWD car can be difficult if you want it to last a long time. From a roll, you'll show her the pretty Fbody taillights...

 

From a roll, the LS1 should pull because of the better top end horsepower. However that is a moot point because racing from a roll is a bit homoish anyway IMO.

Thats an exaggeration. The rear end can handle the stock power of the almighty LS1.

 

From what I hear from everybody at LS1tech, it surely cannot...
