Default Sprayed 92 vs 04 GT

I've got a buddy with a 92 5.0 with a 125 shot of nitrous that wants to run my 04 GT. All I've got done to the car is a chip, 4.10's, and a short shifter. What type of chance do I stand. His car couldn't get any faster than 15.4 last Sunday on motor, and I was consistantly pulling 14.0's. He swears up and down that he never got out of 2nd on the aod, but I don't know. Was he sandbagging the car last week? Should I take him up on the offer?

I think it will be a good race, I'm not too sure how much of a difference a 125 shot is going to do for a stock suspension and street tire car (I'm guessing??) but i have a buddy with a bone stock motor, no mods but has pretty much every thing you can do to a suspension and stay legal and a nice set of Nitto DR's that pulls a consistent 12.25 with a 150 nitrous plate kit. So i think the 125 shot will get him 14's and he may go low 14s, even 13s if he can hook, 125 shot is quite a bit, so idk. Does he have anything else done?

he couldnt get any better than 15.2 on motor somthin is wrong seriously wrong. I have heard of bone stock 5.0s getting high 13's, if I am not mistaken.

Yeah, nothing done to the motor other than the nitrous. The motor has over 150,000 miles on it, so i'm thinking it's on it's last leg anyway.

its funny how one day people will argue which car will win... a stock fox 5.0 lx vs a stock new edge gt. now a lightly modded new edge will run with a 5.0 with a 125 shot

If by stock, they mean slicks, tune, and gears, then they might be right...
