reaction time has nothing to do with your et. u could sit at the line for as long as u like. dont get nervious and pop the clutch as soon as u see green, in a attempt to get a good reaction time, which im guessing your doing. try slipping it a little, should get your 60'time down. 60' is where its at get that between 1.9 and 2.0 and u will be money.
^^beat me to it. Trap speed is the MPH at the end of your run, racers call it the trap. BTW metric system>me. It must part of the Canadian plot to take over the world[8D]

did you feel alot of wheel spin when you left the line? one cheap mod for an auto that in my opinion really helps the aode is a shift kit, transgo makes a great one and naturally a higher stall converter. did you come off the line and stomp it, or were you holding the car at load ie around 1100-1350 rpms with the gas and brake? if ya could, kinda walk us thru what you did when you staged and thru the run. detail will certainly help us out on what may help you cut your times

The first thing you need are better tires, get a set of drag radials and you will knock that 60 down. Any other mods will not help you much untill you get the car to hook.

Yes, it did spin, not too much but it did, and yes, as soon as I saw green I just stomp it, I didnt load it at all, I will tell you exactly what I did:

I pass a little water line before I went infront of the tree, I didnt do a burnout because I have street tires and street tires instead of become sticky become greasy so I only did a small burn to remove the water from the tires, I got stoped in the line in front of the tree, I was just there waiting pressing the brake (o/d Off and ,Trac Control off), as soon as I saw green I hitted the gas, tires spinned a little bit, then spinned a little bit when it changed from 1st to 2nd and I just keep pressing the gas, what I noticed is that I felt like my engine was running "forced" it was hitting 6,000rpm and I couldnt feel the last gear come in, it was because I had the O/D was off? should I turn it on when I start feeling it like that?

I have seen guys here in the forum doing less time with street tires and less mods, being an automatic its killing me? or is something that I´m just not doing right?

use the brake and give it a load then let of the brake ease into it for a split sec then punch it to get the best launch u can. it takes some touch and practice a few times but ull get it down.
