go to the srt4 forum, u will see slips of stock srts doing 13.9 and 13.8, and little modded mid 13's, and u wrx it looks its a special edition just made for u, cuz driverimage has 1 of the fastest wrx got NOS upgraded turbo and its like 11.9 its reeeelllyy bad *** wrx, pretty impressive that u can do 12's stock turbo, should show us a slip than i will stfu.
O yea wrx stock even the sti sucks on the highway, my friend keeped up with sti with his 1.8t.
Im pretty sure if its true that silver has 240rwhp would beat you.

 

Wasnt this thread about a Mach 1 Beating a Z28? Well i wanna put my 2 cents in . My buddy and i race often on street and at Bowling Green Ky Beech Bend. So far His WS6 is one of the fastest stock street cars i ever seen. When we head to strip he ran his first run off the bottle and hit 12.9 then he turn on the Juice and ran 11.6 all day. Off bottle if i recall correctly he has 328 Rwhp and 345 stock tourge.On bottle he hits 485 and 601 rwtq. My mustang was bone stock when we went to Dyno and i hit 197 HP and 261 bone stock 93k Miles 1991GT Conv. My 1/4 times was best 14.6 / 95 miles per hour. Tire spin was problem with stock tires maybe gotten 14.5 if i could of hooked up! But anyways when run on the street his car smashes mine no matter what! But let me get to good part i think since this guys mach beat a Z28 that its a good kill no matter who is the driver ,No Excuses ! He shouldnt of messed with the Mach. 1 if he couldnt drive. It probally was a Auto Z28 who knows. We wasnt there! But in the since my buddy and i have ran Mach 1 and new cobras they dont do to well against his WS6 even with out Nitro. I have some film ill be posting on my web page soon. Now when a 4.6 liter kills a 5.7 aka 281 vs 350 cubes its always a good kill same goes for the awsome WRX cars i would love to have one .Heck good gas mileage and even smokin mustangs and some Z guys who knows? But let me remind you its a 4 banger who cares if it has a turbo! No Excuses ! I dont concider WRX rice and i dont think the Neon is either. But people call them what they want.It has kept the racing seen going good these little imports and has made it fun again to street race. Used to be just Mustang Vs Chevy that gets old ! Remember some of us LOL in the mid 80s to early 90s how the Mustang killed and ruled the street i hated them..Then chevy woke up and put a 350 back where it belongs in the mighty Z28 and Trans Ams .. YES ROCK on..Then there was the Mustangs crying about cubes hehehhe so what NO Excuses.I love being the UnderDog and Some people in here talk alot of trash and its funny most of the time . And i enjoy being here ! To end this note, point im trying to make is we all love racing and HP . So try not to be rude to your nieghbors in here cause we all on the same team one way or the other. Race ON. And if you read this thread im sorry i put you to sleep lol.. My new mods , GT40P heads ,Typhoon Upper and lower intake, Typhoon 70 mm TB and Pulleys. Around here the GT's are underated, seems everyone says they can get high 13's stock from them, havent seen it yet. Most of the 99+ GT's are runnin high 14 low 15, doesnt matter if its 5 speed or auto, they just arent goin fast at all.


And as far as a Mach beating a Z28, well it all kinda depends. I have seen a 99 Z28 run 12.2 with little more than drag radials and the airbox mods, and an LS1 SS Z28 runnin 13.5. So it depends on the car, and on the driver to a certain degree. Theres no way a Mach is gonna run a 12.2 with just sticky tires, sorry guys its not gonna happen.
