Default stomped by a stang

man, I had a great time last weekend. While 14.2 at 98 was my best time for the day, my favorite run of the day and all time was 16.5 at 97. lol
I had enough shots to put together a run with a quickass mustang:

pretty cool. Haven't run a magnum yet, or a charger. Looking forward to it.

I have added long tube headers, magnaflow exhaust, a 360 CAI fed directly by a ram air scooped hood, and have removed the fuse to traction control. (it's dash button only retards the ESP, pulling the fuse turns it off)
I also added 20" rims so that adds a good half second or more to my quarter mile times.
Stock R/Ts (5.7L Hemi) run around 14.4 That's on 18 inch rims.
Superchips does not make a flashpaq that supports longtubes yet. Runs too lean. They say they'll have a solution in 90 days. I have to think that means within the year.
I am throwing in a JetChip II this weekend. It won't allow me to reprogram anything but will give me higher shift points and quicker response.
I will be in the 13s by the summer and peckin' at the 12s by the years end with no supercharger or nitrous. Heads and cams go a loong way with the new LX cars.

nice combo.
man, I've loved mustangs since I was 5. I remember when playing with my hotwheels, my white fastback with racing stripes was my favorite. When I was 10, a dude up the street had a 12 second bondomobile that I loved because it woke up the neighborhood at all hours with ever changing melodies of obviously increased horse power. When I was in high school my best friend got an '84 GT. That was it. Just ridin shot gun it it for years has me turning my head today at every mustang with a tude.
