I was cruizin down a street and I see some car come flyin (mr2 almost positive) he started revin it up and the light went green and I just gave a little launch and noticed he didnt go. So I let him catch and he said he wanted to go from a roll i told him to follow me and we went to a side road and went from like 10 I let off after 3rd because I had a strong lead. then I u-turned and he followed, we got out back on the street and he gave me the tumbs up and kept going. If it was more wedge shaped your looking at a 86 - 89. If it was more rounded then it would have been a 91 - 95. If it was convertible it'd be 2000 - 2005. Im going to a assume it was an 91 -95 cuz you'll see more of them on the road. In that case was it turbo or NA.

Just to add a little more information here.
The turbos come stock with 160 rwhp, 0-60 in 5.9. They're quick cars. Add a $50 boost controller and a home-made fuel cut defenser and you got 200 to wheels. A rom tune, slightly bigger turbo, full exhaust, some 550s, maybe some 264 cams and an intake can net close to 300whp, a good driver can net 11s with that. After 300 it becomes kinda expensive for your average joe. But they're pigs wieghing in at almost 3000 lbs. Now the NAs, wiegh about 200 less but only have 110 hp/115 tq to the wheels at best and doesn't respond the best to mods. Most just give up and swap in the turbo motor or a V6.

congrats on the win. my friend has a pretty fast MR2. hangs with my buddy's stock '03/'04 Cobra. well, actually, Justin beat Timmy...both times. but, Timmy cant really drive all that good. and Justin's actually buying his uncle's white MR2 which is faster than his black one...again tho, congrats on the win. you can make MR2's fast with no problem. mid engine layout, rwd...yeah...Justin launches @ 5.5k-6k rpms, and NO wheelspin whatsoever.
