street races
I had some street runs tonight. I ran about 4 times against a 99 cobra w/ 4.10 gears from a 30mph roll. I got it handed to me all times but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. After all the cobra's rev limiter is at 7000 and mines at 5600. One of the races I just couldn't find third in time so I gave up lol. Still learning here! I felt his clutch and it was soooo soft compared to mine. I have a king cobra clutch with the adjusting firewall ****. Is mine just really stiff? I have never driven this with the stock clutch since I got it about 2 months ago.
Hmm..enlighten me on why. I'm still learning, but it seems like its harder for me to shift since I have to basically stomp on the clutch everytime. When I missed 3rd gear it was because I didn't push the clutch in hard enough. It's kinda hard to when you're trying to do it as fast as possible.
edit: also, I think my synchro's are kinda bad. How much will it be to replace it?

the stiffer the clucth the better because the stiffer it is the better grip you get so which means you get better launches. You'll get better at it and you will notice the grip difference, but evenually you will burn it down a bit and it will loosen up.
