I have an 02 GT completely stock 5spd. This ******* that had one of the new body eclipses was right on my *** so i decided to speed up and get over. When i did of course he comes flying by...so of course i start gunning it just to see what happens. Well he didnt pull away at all, actually i was keeping up and passed him up. The next intersection we were coming up to turns Red light right at the right moment. What does he do, he gets behind me instead of next to me and rides my ***. I'm pretty sure it was all stock but it seemed like he had it floored. I dont know anything bout the new eclipses but he seemed skerred.

A stock new eclipse doesn't have a prayer even against a 99-04 auto vert, let alone a coupe.

 

Yea i thought it was pretty pathetic. It's acceleration was especially slow, i think thats why he backed down at the light.

i think the new V6's are actually like 265hp.........but, theyre are SOOOO UGLY. congrats on the win. damned ricers........they act all big n bad from a roll, but get 'em at a light, and what happens.....they get behind ya....."if you cant run with the big dogs, stay on the porch".
