Well today on my 2 off periods from school,Me and my friends decided to head to best buy,I took my mom 04 ponitac GTP to school today so i had a car.My Buddy has an 91 lx ,Manual trans,3.55's and exhaust so he pulls up next to me at a light and start reving, I kept telling myslef no because i wouldnt no how to live with myself beating one of my kind in my mom's gm,Well lets say the g/f edged me on and i roasted him till i had a good 4 car lenghts on him.I couldnt belive it we got to best buy and he told me he had it to the floor..I was in disbelife and still am..[:-]

And dam does that GTP whineeee

Yea it makes me think twice about pulling up to my mom at a light...haha such a moms car though so big and boaty...

I believe it, my dad has a '99 and i guess they're capable of mid-high 14's stock, and the newer ones have even more power... I love GTPs One time i raced a kid in his new Tiburon GT 5spd (low 15s?) with 3 people and luggage in it bone stock and it had no problem destroying him lol

 

MY 88GT 5.0 smoked one of those and I only have 3.90gears Built AOD, Headers and exhaust, more or less. I had atleast 3 car lengths on it before I backed off. My timing was bumped up to 13*.
