S197 vs. Charger R/T

S197 vs. Charger R/T
Now I dont know how fast exactly those charger R/T's are (Daytona or whatever) but I was definetly able to hang with one then eventually start pulling from beginning of third and I kept going. I was shocked... I guess I over estimated those chargers... Anyone else know first hand about the R/T's? I know the SRT-8's are fast, but I think we got em with bolt ons... (correct if I am completely wrong)

RE: S197 vs. Charger R/T
I encountered one with a tune and a CAI on my 05 GT. He had exhaust work, but despite this, I didn't have any problems with him. Being in the 12s, I'm surprised it took until third gear to walk him.

RE: S197 vs. Charger R/T
My buddy has a new Charger R/T...we wanted to see the difference so we went from 40-100 several times...each time I ended up 5-6 lengths in front...I have 301rwhp and 316rwtq and he was stock

RE: S197 vs. Charger R/T
Ran one from like a 65-110 roll(anyone with a 2V knows high speed rolls are our strong point[&:]). He got the jump and we pretty much stayed even with each other. Not bad for a 4 door Sedan I think.

RE: S197 vs. Charger R/T
at the strip there were 4 SRT8 LX cars tuning their cars as they did runs and started with Mopar CAI's on a stock tune
a 300, and two chargers.... almost all of them were pulling 13.6-13.8 @ 104-105MPH untill they broke into the tuning
after the tuning and tweaking the cars picked up ALOT, the 300 ran a best of 13.1 @ 106MPH and the chargers ran around 13.3-13.4 @ 107MPH
IMO a charger R/T is nothing but a low-mid 14 second car off the lot... just from what I see, sure some an break 13's, but I havn't seen any
